User Submitted Fisher-Price Galloping Fun Jumperoo Reviews August 14, 2008 Galloping Fun Jumperoo I bought this for my grandson and he loves it. I have the jungle jumperoo at my house and as soon as he got old enough to enjoy it, I bought the galloping one for him to have at his house. It doesn't have the flashing lights and as many sounds or toys for him to play with on it but he likes to spin the little disks on it and play with the cloth hair for the mane. It makes cute horsey sounds too. I probably would have gotten him the one I have at home but my daughter had noticed how expensive it was and I knew she wouldn't stand for me spending that much on it. This one was about $[...] less and he really likes it.
August 14, 2008 My little buckaroo loves the jumparoo! We purchased the Fisher-Price Galloping Fun Jumperoo for my six-month old son to play with at his grandmother's house. He loved it so much we also bought one for home. The seat is similar to the ones on the exersaucers, so he was able to sit securely even though he wasn't able to sit up on his own. My son loves the fact that as he jumps up and down the music plays with a few "yee-haws" thrown in. I would recommend this purchase to others with active little ones, particularly in the 6-10 month range (depending upon child's size and development).
August 4, 2008 My son absolutely loves it! Fun exercise for him. My 7 month old son absolutely loves this jumperoo. This is the best investment! At first we (the adults) didn't know how the horsy makes noise/music (well...because we didn't read that part of the menu). All of a sudden, Ryan was jumping up and down and the horsy was singing...put a big smile of his face. Now, whenever he sees the jumperoo, he wants to ride it. Good for baby exercise. Definitely recommend to all parents.
July 28, 2008 Jumperoo is a must-have item!!!! We bought this for our 3 1/2 month old daughter, not sure if she'd be able to use it yet due to the strength of her neck and head, but she loves it and does great!!!
She'll sit in for 10-20 minutes at a time and loves the music and pushing her feet off from the ground.
Definitely happy about this purchase and the no tax and free shipping through Amazon!!!
July 27, 2008 New Grandson LOVED this My new 6 months old Grandson just fell in love with "Old Blue" and spent a lot of time bouncing, enjoying the sounds it makes. I would certainly recomend this to any young child around 6 months old. Really GREAT!
July 16, 2008 A pony lover must! I love horses and this is the perfect toy for my kid to start his riding career without me worrying about a pony, bolting, bucking or rearing and causing harm to my baby. Ok maybe he won't be learning the delights of show jumping but he loves to jump up and down in this jumperoo. It comes with a selection of noises and tunes with an off button when they start to drive you mad. It doesn't have as many toys as other on the market but the reins give you a place to use the interlocking loops you can buy and attach extra toys. And this way you can swap them out to keep it interesting. I would recommend this to all as it is a great item for a great price.
June 25, 2008 Galloping Fun Jumperoo is a great buy! We bought this jumperoo when my son was 4 months old and he LOVED it! He is about to be 9 months and still enjoys it. The only reason we bought it was because our babysitter had the Rainforest Jumperoo and he loves that as well. I wanted something different than she had, and there were several to pick from but I thought this was adorable and figured he would enjoy it just as much. I was right! He really gets to jumping, and sometimes falls asleep. The ONLY thing I didn't like too much was how open the seat was. At first he sort of bobbled around because he couldn't hold him self up that well so I had to put a blanket behind him. But other than that, it's great!!
June 23, 2008 Galloping Fun My grandson loves this! It's very hard to get him out. He bounces so hard sometimes we think he's going to bounce himself right out. The laughing and giggling from the child clearly shows he's loving every minute.
Assembly is comparatively easy and quick. Height adjustment is perfect. The music can get a little annoying but does have an off button. There is a volumne control and you have a choice of the music playing constantly or only when the baby jumps. Storage could be a little tricky. It is a little big and only folds down to about 6 inches. Honestly that is the only drawback and it's not that big a drawback. The pros far outweigh the con.
I would highly recommend this.
April 20, 2008 More Traditional, still lots of fun I wanted a Jumperoo for my mom's house since our son loves his Rainforest one so much. I bought the Galloping Fun version, despite being worried that it wouldn't be as interesting to him. If anything, he likes it even more! He loves to jump so that's a big part of the magic for him, but the simple toys are still engaging for him, which is great. And in a way its nice to have a toy that doesn't flash a bunch of lights and sirens in his face every 3 seconds. Don't get me wrong -- I know today's developmental toys are great, but this is more old school...the "toys" really are just simple plastic disks that spin, plus the horsey's main and ears are fabric that can be pulled, and that's about it, but he still loves to play with them and he'll jump and hang out in the Galloping Fun Jumperoo for 20 minutes+ without complaint! Also the music and sound effects are really cute. "Woo Hoo!"
April 8, 2008 what a lifesaver! my son was 6 mo old when I bought this and I was doubtful if we'd get tons of use out of it..he LOVES it! so worth the price as it gives me a few minutes to get things done around the house-awesome buy!
