User Submitted Infantino Euro Rider in Khaki and Black Reviews November 3, 2008 Can't beat it for the price We received one of these for our son from a work colleague. We also have a $$$ Ergo Carrier. Our six-month son much prefers the Infantino to the Ergo b/c the Infantino faces outward and he can see everything around him. He complains about sitting in the Ergo and eventually falls asleep. The only advantage to the Ergo is that it is more comfortable to wear for an extended period of time.
Having a carrier is great for moms and dads around the house who need to get things done and keep the baby entertained.
Be careful with any carrier as they all must be adjusted properly to avoid falls.
October 24, 2008 Great Product! I love this carrier! I also have a hotslings baby sling, but prefer to use this carrier (much easier on a bad back or shoulders). I've used the babybjorn and hated it. This is great and I recently found them at a discount shop for about $10.00. I bought them for friends who are having or have just had babies...these make great gifts! :)
June 7, 2008 Cost Effective This product meets all expectations for an infant carrier. Although there are more expensive products out there, for the limited amount of time that we will be using our carrier, we thought a more cost effective method would be the way to go. We are still waiting for our baby, but look forward to using this infant carrier in the near future.
December 11, 2007 Buckles that don't stay locked makes this a risk to baby. [ASIN:B00013278Y Infantino Euro Rider in Khaki and Black] Irrespective of the color and pattern, this product can easily turn dangerous when a buckle unlatches unexpectedly. I gave my daughter one of these for her baby shower. When she used it for the first time, she realized that the major buckles that secure baby did not lock. My granddaughter almost landed on the floor.
This is not an isolated case, as I read on the Target web-site that several mothers had similar experiences. Beware.
October 9, 2007 Just what I needed I have been looking and looking for a carrier and finally found this one. So far it has been working out like a champ. I had a infantino snuggle thing and my boy was just too big for it he hated it. But he loves to be in the EuroRider.
May 13, 2007 Nice Product I have been using Infantino EuroRider for carrying my baby and its wonderful.
July 8, 2006 DON'T BUY!!!!! I bought this carrier before my daughter was born and she at first did not like, I thought she may when she got older? I have been trying it now that she is 4 months, she is a average weight baby and yet it cuts off circulation to her legs. My husband had her in it with her facing out and I looked at her legs after only 10 minutes and they were literally purple! She doesn't like it, it is horribly hard to get her into, and after seeing what it did to her legs there is no way she is going back in. DON'T BUY THIS AT ALL!!!!!
April 13, 2006 Very comfortable carrier! I have the Snugli front/back carrier and the Combi Urban hip carrier. The Snugli was a waste of money because my 2 month old outgrew it because he's a big baby and his legs were being pinched in it. The Combi Urban is OK but being my baby is big, it's not too comfortable with all the weight being shifted to one side. The straps are well-padded but it still pinches my neck. The EuroRider has been great, so far. It is soft and you can adjust (via velcro) the body/leg room, unlike the Snugli and Combi. I am very happy with this purchase.
August 29, 2005 Good front carrier I registered for this as a first time Mom and found that it was very handy to have. I agree that it could be easier to get the baby in and out of, but I looked at other models and couldnt find another one that looked any easier. I used to carry one of my twins in this while I had the other twin and my 3 year old in the stroller when we would go out.
When the baby is fussy and wants to be held, it is great to be able to keep him close to you and still have your hands free to do chores, too. I would recommend it.
June 16, 2005 Try it before you buy it I was excited about receiving this carrier as a gift because I envisioned carrying my baby around everywhere--while I did household chores, ran errands, and going for walks with my husband. Very quickly I realized that it was a major ordeal to just get the dang thing on! The only really accurate way to make the adjustments on all the different straps and hooks is with the baby IN the carrier, and we all know what happens when you mess with a 5 mo. old too much. Another problem is that when you face them out, the back support is supposed to fold down, but ours keeps popping up right in our daughter's face. She just chews on it mostly, but I'd rather it didn't do this.
One good thing is that my daughter LOVES being in it (once we get going). When she was facing me, she usually fell asleep, but as she has gotten older, she loves to face out and see the world. I would recommend finding someone who has one and trying it out before you buy it.
