If zero stars was an option.........
If zero stars was an option, I would go with that!! Definitely spend the extra $10-$20 and get the more expensive version. This is a total waste of money if you are purchasing this product to protect your little one from shopping cart germs!! The velcro strapping is a poor design, so the parts of the cart that DO get covered... don't stay that way long b/c the velcro comes loose. And what is the point if the sides are not covered?? My baby ended up chewing on the side of the cart before I noticed her doing it, and I decided right then and there that this piece of junk is going in the trash! She can remain in her carrier until the big brown truck delivers the better model I just ordered!! It's clumbsy and hard to use....... all around a BOMB!

Well....... one nice thing I can say..... cute design...... colorful.... cute toys I guess, although my 9 month old was bored with them fairly quickly. If you're just wanting to entertain your baby while shopping, I guess this might be ok.

I agree
I agree with the others; this thing is such a hassle and doesn't even do anything. Get something else.

Not for big babies
This is a really cute product, but not practical at all. I have had 3 big boys (ages 4 to 6 mo.) and none could sit in this without pulling the velcro off. Not secure and doesn't cover all surfaces. Very disappointing for such a cute cover.

No good...
This thing was awful. I bought it and planned to shop that day. It kept sliding off and it does not cover the sides of the cart. I saw another Mom shopping and she had the one with the elastic. She had also tried this one ONCE and then returned it. I am returning this today!

Works fantastic for us!
I'm not quite sure what these other Moms are talking about, but I think it's fantastic. I always park near a shopping cart area to begin with and I just grab one and put it in there but even if I don't, I put my son on my hip and place it in the cart and strap in the velcro and I'm good to go. I shop at Walmart and I haven't found a cart yet that it doesn't fit into. I love it and so does my son! It's bright and colorful and the toys don't pull off unless you rip at it, so I'm not sure what happened with the other parent. Anyway, and he's 6 months old, sits up in it nicely and I love the fact that it as a nice pillow behind him to help him fit in the cart better and is comfy for him. I think it's cute! I mean, you're in the store pushing your child around. I don't know what people expect as far as durability goes. I mean for the hour or two a week I'm at Walmart or Target, it holds up great! I've already washed it several times and still looks brand new and it's cute and fun! I think it's worth the $20. Just my opinion.

Not a one-person job...
Once my son grew out of the infant seat, I wanted something to hold him in the shopping cart to keep him amused and protect him from germs. This isn't it! First of all, it's impossible to install while holding a child. There's a series of little velcro tabs that need to be wrapped around the back and front that are hard to manage one handed. The seat belt doesn't fit through the back of a standard shopping cart if yours (like my grocery store does) has one of those ad placards on the back of the seat. Alternately, the seat belts that come on the grocery cart don't fit through the holes on the cart cover. After all that, if you do get it all set up and your child inside, the sides of the cart are left open to germs. When all my friends said "buy a Floppy", I thought this would be a better alternative because of the toys and storage - we're buying a floppy for Christmas. What a waste

Very convenient
I really like this cover. First of all, I use it for highchairs too. So it's one less item I need to "cart" around with me. I really like the little cup for snacks. Very handy in the store. And soooo easy to wash. My son was never really into the toys. I also like the pouches in the back to keep my coupon book. It all folds up so nicely and I can easily store it in the side slots of my car so it's not in the way.

Not worth the money
I bought this one because it was cheaper than the others and I thought there couldn't be much dfference. WRONG! It didn't fit on any carts so it slid all over the place, and the toys were too easy to pull off. I returned it and plan to buy one with elastic.

Doesn't fit carts
This cart cover does not fit any carts that I've used it on and when I put my daughter in it, the velcro comes loose. I wouldn't recommend.

Not worth it
I, too, registered for this cart cover thinking of all the germs my baby would be protected from and how much fun he'd have when we used it for tummy time and in the store. Wrong! Like another reviewer posted, when using for tummy time, it was okay, but the velcro would constantly get caught on the carpet. When using in the store, it's such a hassle to hold the baby while wrestling to unroll it, fasten it, loop the belt throught the cart spokes squeezing the baby into it (his legs always seem to get caught in the flaps)and strap him in. I swear, the fist time we used this item, we spent more time trying to set it up than we did in the store! Not to mention the fact that the toys are utterly boring and play annoying, fake-sounding animal sounds and singing that sound alien-like. Oh, and yes, while this will protect your baby from biting the front/handle of the cart, it does nothing to shield him from the sides of the cart. Yep, my son loves to gnaw on the sides, so a lot of good this cover does me.

I say this cart cover is a waste of money. There are better ones out there.
