Could be more comfortable
Having read how uncomfortable Baby Bjorn is, I purchased this product 4 months ago even though there wasn't any review on-line I could find.

Good things about it:

+ Stylish
+ Easy to use
+ Good padding
+ Good lower back support
+ My son really enjoys being worn in this carrier.

Problems:
- Hurts my shoulders. My 4-month old son is now 15.5 lb, and wearing him 30 minutes starts feeling uncomfortable, after 1 hour my shoulders & neck would hurt like hell.
- Straps get loose after a while. I have to keep tightening them and readjust every 10 minutes or so, otherwise, i don't feel my son is sufficiently supported.

The bottomline is, the weight is mostly on the shoulders. it is not something u can wear for longer period of time or do house chores.

Amazing Carrier
I bought this carrier after much review of similar products on the market. I had been given a Maclaren baby carrier for my shower and hate it. It hurt my back and shoulders after only a short time wearing it. My daughter weighed 10lbs at the time I used it (almost three weeks old). I can't imagine what it would feel like if she weighed more!!! I did some research online and decided to purchase the Baby Bjorn Active carrier with lumbar support in Black/Red (that's our color scheme of choice since babies initially see those colors best). The Baby Bjorn carrier box I purchased at Babiesrus looked like it had been opened. I asked the cashier prior to purchasing the product if the box had been opened and she assured me it had not since it had a big security wrap on it. However, once I got home, I opened the box and it was obviously a return, since it had lots of stains on it and looked like someone had washed it! Needless to say, I returned it. There were no other ones in the store, or in other stores nearby, that had not been tampered with. Therefore, I did not purchase another one. Lucky Me!!! In that time I went to purchase a travel case for my bugaboo and had checked out the baby carriers at that store. I ended up purchasing the Lascal M1 carrier and I love it! It is very stylish and, most importantly, very comfortable. My daughter loves it. She is very happy to hang out in it while I do my errands or go for walks and falls asleep in it quite easily. The best part is that it has great back support and has adjustments for the neck, back, and height. We are going on a trip this weekend, hence the above purchases, and I am thrilled to test them out on the road. I have been using the carrier for about a week at home but am sure that it will test well on the road. If not, I will be sure to post!
